Walking Worthy

May these pages portray our desire to have "a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:10

Showered and Visited

More Showers!
June 24th Philip was blessed by another baby shower!
Baby and Mom are both very happy with a new set of bottles, extra diapers and a keepsake blanket with messages from all who attended...

Oma and Opa Visit
We were excited to have Oma and Opa Simson visit from California. It was great to have Philip meet his Opa for the first time. We all enjoyed going out for supper and spending time together.

Philip Has Arrived!

We welcome Philip Nethaniel Reinhardt into our family...

born May 25th at 6:06am after 9 hours of labor,
weighing 8 pounds, 14 ounces, 20.5 inches...

You can see recent photos and read our new blog at http://walkingworthy.spaces.msn.com/
You will need to be a hotmail member to view this "space"- so we will try to keep this blogsite moderately recent... (updated once every 3 months or so)

We are still making plans to leave for Pennsylvania in August. We may be facing the extra expense of having to formula feed Philip, so we are trusting the Lord for that!

God has faithfully taken us through these last few weeks, with so much support from our friends, family and church. We praise God for his provision and kindness! God does take care of his own!

Praises...
  • My mother was here to help me in that first week of recovery after delivery- cooking and taking care of baby with me!
  • Our church provided us with a financial gift to help with our expenses during our last stay at the hospital (Philip had an eye infection for a few days.)
  • Philip has received so many gifts ... and I have received so much support from the community! (People to babysit, friends to visit me, etc.)
  • The Church Mom's group is providing us meals for the next two weeks!
  • In the States, we will qualify for welfare support for Philip's formula and other needs!
  • We are working out our tax situation here, so that we can receive support from the Alberta government for our situation as well.
Thanks to all who have prayed us through this time!

Blessings, PATTI AND STEVEN

Direction Granted

As of last Wednesday...
  • Steve has been accepted to the Miracle Mountain CAMP program beginning September of this year in Spring Creek Pennsylvania!
  • Steve has kept working temporarily at a construction company in town.
  • Steve is gearing up to test again for his Class 1 liscense this coming Monday, April 10th...at 9am (please pray it doesn't snow this weekend!) And pray for a good job for him as well for the 4 months we have left here...and God's direction.
  • I have an ultrasound scheduled for April 10th as well, in the afternoon. Baby is quite active and happy...and getting big! We hope to see the status of the cyst in my body at the time of the ultrasound. (Pray that it is gone!) Only 6 more weeks to go till is potential birth-day!

That's the latest.
